The 6 various stages of the PayU onboarding journey will also be reflected on your Ordify account. The “KYC Status” can be found on the same Payments Setup page.

The meaning for the various status explained:

Step 1: Account created, awaiting for verification:  A PayUmoney account has been created with email, mobile & merchant name. No other merchant profile details have been submitted yet. Profile submitted:  The merchant profile details like Address, Business Registration information, Bank details etc. has been submitted by or on behalf of the merchant. But the bank account details are not verified yet.

Step 2: Bank verified:  Bank account of the merchant has been verified either by using penny verification or other means, but the merchant is yet to start with the upload of the documents required by PayUmoney.

Step 3: Documents upload in progress:  This status means that the merchant has started with the documents upload process but is yet to complete the same.

Step 4: Documents verification in progress:  This status implies that the merchant has successfully completed the upload of all documents required by PayU, but the verification by PayU is in progress.

Step 5: Documents rejected:  This status implies that the documents submitted by the merchants were incorrect and hence PayU have rejected the same. The merchant may re-upload the right documents on the merchant dashboard.

Step 6: Website verification in progress:  This is a generic status that implies that the merchant’s website details have not been successfully verified yet by PayU. There is no separate status available on partner dashboard even if PayU has rejected the website details submitted, though detailed information is available to the merchant on the merchant dashboard. Please note that if the website verification is successfully completed by PayU before documents are successfully verified then a reseller will not see this status.

Step 7: Live:  This means the merchant is successfully on-boarded to PayU and can receive settlements in his bank account.

You will see a pop-up that says PayU Money has been enabled on your profile. Click on OK and you’re done!

When you close the pop-up, you’ll notice that the PayU Money box contains your KYC Status: Account Created. This means that your KYC is underway for approval and once it gets approved, your new PayU Money account will be successfully created.

Step 5 : To disable the PayU Money option, simply click the Disable option next to the blue button that now says “Enabled”.

Offline Payment

Use this payment method if you want to accept offline modes of payment like Credit or Debit cards, bank transfer, etc, from customers.

Step 1 : Hover to the Offline Payment box on the Payment Settings page.

Step 2 : Click on the Enable Now button.

Step 3 : You’ll see a pop-up that says Offline Payment has been enabled. Click on OK and you’re done!

Step 4 : To disable the Offline Payment option, simply click the Disable option next to the blue button that now says “Enabled”.
